Transferable semester hour’s criteria

For less than 30

  • The minimal requirement is high school as a first-year student.
  • High school academic standing is the minimum GPA is 2.0 [4.0 systems] for every college-level course attempted.

For 30 or more but less than 60

  • Completed a minimum 1 English essay course and 1 Math college-level course with 3 semester credit hours in each.
  • Exhibit competency in American Sign Language or world language to an average 2nd high school level or 2nd elementary college-level course.
  • GPA 2.0 is needed for every college-level academic program attempted.

For 60 or more                                       

  • Completed 2 college-level English essay and Math programs with grade ‘C’ or better’.
  • Exhibit competency in American Sign Language or world language to an average 2nd high school level or 2nd elementary college-level course.
  • GPA 2.0 is needed for every college-level academic programs attempted.
